It was the seafood moment that spawned a fiery #lobstergate debate on Twitter: The Real Housewives of New York City'Ramona Singer arrived to Barbara Kavovit's Hamptons clambake with a bottle of rosé and left shortly after... with lobster takeout to go.

Tinsley Mortimer called the incident "rude," our experts weighed in, and Luann de Lesseps tweeted her own thoughts — prompting a Twitter defense from Ramona.

According to, which sells the wine, it has a "smooth palate with a nice acidic freshness," and consequently pairs "with pistou soup, raw vegetables, grilled meat, prawns kebabs, or apricot pie." And, we also presume, it pairs quite well with lobster, too.

Ramona was so attached to the particular variety that she apparently left the party with the same bottle...
