Barbara Kavovit has definitely earned her pool time at her home in East Hampton, which has been the source of some significant stress this year. We don't blame The Real Housewives of New York City friend for reveling in the huge swimming pool that's in the backyard for as long as she can this year. After all, this home was for rent during the summer, so she may not have had much of an opportunity to relax outside.
Looks like she's making up for it now!
"Cranking the pool heater up to 90’ just because I can!" she wrote as an Instagram caption to a photo of herself chillaxing in the pool. "Ya can’t hear @ledzeppelin in the background but I’m rockin out #gettheledout."
When she finally does have to come back inside the five-bedroom home, she's got plenty of amenities to get her through the colder months, like a state-of-the-art pro chef's kitchen and an opulent bathroom that could easily be found in a resort. But she's been through a lot with this home. Reports emerged in July that the property was in danger of foreclosure following the aftermath of her filing for bankruptcy protection.
“Part of being an entrepreneur means that business and life can sometimes take unexpected turns,” Barbara told Page Six in a statement. “In 2015, I filed for personal bankruptcy protection which has been discharged, and am currently in settlement discussions with Deutsche Bank, with every expectation this will be concluded soon.” Here's hoping Barbara is able to move past this hurdle and enjoy her home for years to come!
