From how active Lisa Vanderpump is with dog rescues and the fight against dog meat in Yulin, it seems almost impossible that she's not always been a huge dog lover. She does hint about it now and again on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but we recently uncovered photographic evidence that she's always been a BFF to four-legged friends.
The picture above shows a teenage (!) LVP promoting a film called Killer's Moon on November 15, 1978. Its caption reads:
"Actress in film, Lisa Vanderpump aged 17, with doberman pinscher and star of film named Hannah, who is also a real life hero dog. Hannah lost a leg when shot as she defended her owner during a 1974 armed robbery."
We looked into this film and here's what we uncovered: Lisa played Anne, one of a busload of stranded school girls, who are searching for a place to spend the night in Britain's rural Lake District after their bus breaks down. However, not far away are four escaped mental patients who have killed a game warden and mutilated a dog — aka "Hannah" — and are, well, I'm sure you can imagine what likely comes next.
P.S. If you'd like to see for yourself and see Lisa in action, we did find the video available on Amazon. You're welcome.
