You didn't think The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Camille Grammar maintained that svelte physique by sitting around eating bonbons all day, did you? (If only such a feat were possible, we'd be all about it.)
Alas, the cancer-surviving, newly engaged cast mate is all about challenging her body... while enjoying the journey within her environs of Los Angeles, the land where hiking year-round outdoors is as preferred a fitness method as spinning in a studio. (Though, hey, Angelenos sure love our spinning, too.)
"I’m an active person," she told Los Angeles Confidential. "I like to hike. There are a lot of great hiking areas in the Santa Monica mountains."
In addition to the physical fitness benefits of hiking, she certainly finds mental health benefits to the activity as well: "When I hike, it gives me a chance to breathe and relax. It’s my form of meditation," she said. (Did we mention Angelenos love our meditation, too?)
"I also like to paddleboard," Camille added to L.A. Confidential. "I believe being active is a wonderful way to live in the moment."
Amen to that.
Camille also told the mag she finds peace and health opps in the Malibu beach and mountains: "I work out regularly with Neda at Malibu Jams, she’s fantastic. After healing from cancer, she helped me so much."
