Kourtney Kardashian is back on the Keto Diet for her second spin around the low-carb, high-fat (and high-protein!) block. On her lifestyle website Poosh, the Keeping up with the Kardashians health nut has been sharing hacks for how she sticks to the eating plan — including how she manages to squeeze in a few bites of cheesecake without violating Keto code. And in another recent post, Kourt filled her followers in on the snacks that help her stave off hunger while staying in ketosis.
"I make sure to have a keto-friendly snack handy with me, just in case," the Calabasas mama shared. "My favorite are pecans or walnuts — the fat and protein keep me full in between meals and curbs cravings."
Later, she added, "Another great snack is an avocado sliced up with olive oil, salt, and pepper. It’s packed with the right fats to make me feel full, and the creamy texture and salty taste is really satisfying. Olives are also a good keto hack snack, especially kalamatas. They add flavor to things that can be kind of bland, like salmon or tuna."
Huh! A fun new ingredient to try in our next tuna salad. (It doesn't take much to get us stoked for lunchtime ...)
