Sometimes you need a couch so badly that you're willing to throw down $35,000 for it. And that was just the case for Kim Zolciak-Biermann — and now she's opening up more about that pricey piece of home decor.
The Don't Be Tardy mom recently sat down with Entertainment Tonight, and dished out just why the couch cost that much. “The couch thing, I thought it was pretty stupid, to be honest with you," she admitted, before revealing that the couch ended up being so much money because they had it specially delivered to the family's abode. “I was the first person to have [that couch]. But I had to put it on, like, a boat to get here quicker. Or ship it … we flew it in to get here quicker, 'cause I wanted it by Christmas," she explained about the couch from Restoration Hardware’s RH Modern line (it retails for between $3,000 and $12,000).
The couch did have an impact on the home as it ended up being the go-to place for the family's sleepovers. She added, “We literally slept on that couch until, like, a month ago. Our whole family would camp out. So, it's like, money well spent.”
Money well spent: Here is Kim's $35,000 couch.
