Summer may soon be coming to an end, but the high-seas drama is still heating up, thanks to the premiere of Below Deck Season 7 on Monday, October 7 at 9/8c.
This season already sounded amazing since we learned that Captain Lee Rosbach, Kate Chastain, and Ashton Pienaar will all be back for another season of hookups, hangovers, and hungry charter guests. Captain Lee will of course return to lead the crew, and Kate will resume her longtime role as chief stew. However, Ashton has been promoted from deckhand to bosun this time around. He'll soon find out that it's not always easy being the one who's in charge.
These returning crew members will be joined by a whole new crop of yachties ready to set sail in Season 7, including Kevin Dobson (chef), Simone Mashile (second stew), Courtney Skippon (third stew), Brian de Saint Pern (lead deckhand), Tanner Sterback (deckhand), and Abbi Murphy (deckhand). This may just be “the most attractive deck crew” ever, according to Kate.
That's not all that's so fresh about the upcoming season of Below Deck. The crew will be cruising around Thailand for the first time on the mega yacht Valor. "There's so much to take in, it's almost sensory overload," Captain Lee said in the above trailer for Season 7. "Holy s--t, are you kidding me?!"
Get ready for loads of drama in the interior, fiery galley feuds, and a deck team that may not be firing on all cylinders. Oh, and you know that love is always in the air on Below Deck — but so are love triangles and heartbreak.
With each group of charter guests more demanding than the next, will every member of the crew be able to make it through the season? Let's just say Captain Lee, Kate, and Ashton may not be the only familiar faces we'll see in the new season.
It looks like all of the conflict in the crew may even drive Kate to the brink of quitting (gasp!). This season truly is unprecedented.
