If you're familiar with Ladies of London, you know Caroline Stanbury is no stranger to a good time. Her first words of Season 3 were "Has anyone died from a hangover?" So, it's no surprise that her makeup artist Luke Henderson knows exactly how to hide that good time the next day—in classic cheeky fashion of course.
In this makeup tutorial for a fabulous daytime look, we find out the secrets to looking radiant the morning after a late night out—and not just because the booze hasn't worn off yet. The key to hiding a hangover, Lueke says, is starting with this "really inexpensive exfoliator by Liz Earle, it's all natural" before even putting on a stitch of make-up. Caroline, who had been drinking tequila at 3 AM the night before in the above video, is already glowing, all because of this magical $30.00 serum.
But that's not all we learn in this tutorial. Caroline's go-to basic for a fab face is false lashes. "Basically if you can't do make-up at all," she says, "a lash changes everything." Luke adds that when wearing false lashes and mascara, the key is to only sweep the base, not through the entire lash. Another must-have for Caroline is concealer. She says, "I live for this stuff—his hides every wrinkle. I just love it." So, jot this down: exfoliate, lash, conceal, repeat. Then, feel free to indulge in that holiday-party champagne. Enjoy learning all the tricks of the party-girl trade above. Plus, enjoy the moment when Luke jovially calls Caroline an evil witch. Out of love, of course.
