Another reality TV couple is calling it quits. Singer Tamar Braxton has filed for divorce from husband/manager Vincent Herbert after almost nine years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple has a son, Logan, 4, and starred in four seasons of Tamar & Vince on WE tv. The fifth and final season premieres on November 9.
"At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert," her rep said in a statement provided to E! News. "Collectively, their son Logan and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is most important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone's love and prayers."
Tamar, who will be opening for the reunited R&B duo Xscape (stars of their own upcoming Bravo series) on tour, also recently announced that her new album Bluebird of Happiness would be her last.
"There are a lot of things that I want to do, and a lot of things that are in the works," she told Entertainment Tonight last month. "There's a lot of things that are going on in my relationship and me being close to this music industry, and whatever I can do to eliminate all of the stress and problems off of my relationship, I would rather do that."
