Sure, digital detox is a fitness and travel trend. But if you find yourself visiting one of these hotels with insanely beautiful gyms, good luck disciplining yourself against snapping some photos for Instagram during your workout. (Bonus points for impressing followers with your undaunted fitness regime, even while on the road.) Behold:

1. The Ludlow — New York City

Perched on the 20th floor of this swank, boutique hotel in the Lower East Side, the fitness center has expansive windows right off the cardio machines and the free weights, meaning you can run or lift while sightseeing lower Manhattan’s 1800s-tenament buildings from a bird’s-eye view. For yoga fanatics, the adjoining sun deck provides further views of the East River and the Williamsburg Bridge.

2. Sea Island — Sea Island, Georgia

Will walking circles through a grass-covered mandala equal enlightenment? Possibly, but at the very least, the hotel’s meditation garden labyrinth makes for a great photo opp. The property's 65,000-square-foot fitness center and spa actually has photo moments galore, from the water atrium’s fireplace blasting heat. for hot yoga to the private beach for outdoor, high-intensity interval training.

3. BodyHoliday — St. Lucia

The whole property is fitness focused, and you can unleash your inner camper here with some archery, fencing, or water sports. You’re definitely going to earn the “likes” if you snapshot your spin class in the Tree House Studio, a glass-encased room perched in a tree. Then there’s yoga out on the Zen Deck, a giant platform, 25 feet high in a giant tree.

4. Hotel Icon — Hong Kong

If you have to have jet lag, this is a great place to have it. Waking up and catching the sunrise from this gym is absolutely, mind-blowingly beautiful. State-of-the-art equipment is set against 30-foot, single-pane windows that first overlook the cloud reflections on the surface of the heated, outdoor, 45-foot swimming pool. Beyond that is a digital-fantasy, sleek, sexy backdrop of the skyscrapers of Hong Kong Island rising against a gradually transforming pink and blue sky. Look down and you get incredible views of Hong Kong’s traditional junk boats puttering on Victoria Harbour.

5. Jumeirah Vittaveli — Maldives

Why do you go to the Maldives in the first place? For the overwater bungalows, naturally. And here, the entire Talise Fitness Center is in an overwater bungalow, perched on top of the Indian Ocean. Throw on your headphones, hop up on one of the elite treadmills, and don’t push “start” until you’ve snapped a perfect Instagram of the roof’s thatched fringe capping the windows and the sight beyond. It’s cartoon-green palm trees and insanely aqua, shallows with rocks, visible reefs, and ramshackle fishing boats. Everyone’s gonna hate you when you post it.

6. Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa — San Diego, CA

If someone blindfolded you and walked you out onto this stunning teak deck surrounded by palm trees and lush foliage, facing your yoga instructor, who's perched on a smaller wooden platform inside of a reflection pond, you’d be convinced you were in Bali. However, you’re much closer to home — in San Diego!

7. Grand Velas Los Cabos — Los Cabos, Mexico

This resort opened during the very last days of 2016, and guests arrived to a 35,000-square-foot spa and fitness complex with personal trainers, in-room juice bars and ample reason to pause for a quick snapshot to remember your workout after you’ve finished. The sunset over the waters off the tip of the Peninsula turn the entire Pacific Ocean from dark blue to nearly lilac in color. (And it's a great way to work off that $25,000 taco, too.)

8. The Resort at Paws Up — Greenough, Montana

This ranch sits on 37,000 acres in the wilderness and the glass-box Fitness Cabin is a perfect place to take a deep breath (and a photo) and truly fall in love with Montana's expanse. It’s open 24/7 and is stocked with amenities like core balance discs, elliptical machines, free weights, and yoga balls. And that's just inside: You also can’t deny the rejuvenating power of the wild, open, green rolling plains. They are dotted with flowers in the spring, and on the horizon, the Swan Mountain Range is capped by puffy clouds and blue sky.
